Paul has separated the sins of the Gentiles and the sins of the Jews: 

In chapter one, Paul says of the the Gentiles: 'They changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator.' Romans 1: 25

Romans 2: 3: In Chapter two, Paul says of the Jews: They judge others of the same things they are guilty of. 'And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?'  

Romans 2: 6:  Paul speaking about the judgment of God says, God 'will render to each person according to his deeds.' He is quoting from Psalm 62: 12 which reads, 'for thou renders to every man according to his work.'  

Romans 2: 7-9: He will render:'To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile.' 

Romans 2: 11:  Paul reminds us that 'there is no respect of persons with God.' He is impartial. There is no bias over one person or another; people of position are not favored over another. 'For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, mighty, and terrible; which regards not persons, nor taketh reward.' Deuteronomy 10: 17.

Jesus said when asked, 'what shall we do that we might work the works of God?' 'This is the work of God that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.'  John 6: 28-29
